Your choice of Sixth Form is an important one. There are many options available to well-qualified candidates and you should consider not only which subjects but also which programme and ethos will suit you best. We are convinced that students are best served by a broad Sixth Form experience. For this reason we expand the classroom to include leadership education, competitive sports, extensive artistic and cultural opportunities, travel and a broad programme of learning activities outside of the academic subjects studied. For further information and advice about subject choices please follow the links on the sixth form page of our website www.liverpoolcollege.org.uk

In Year Applications
CORONAVIRUS - IMPACT ON ADMISSIONS AND APPEALS - See update HERE
In Year applications are when parents apply for their child to transfer from one school to another in year groups other than Reception, Year 7 and Sixth Form.
The procedures are as follows:
Years 1,2,3,4,5 & 6 : There are currently no places avaiable in any of these year groups but you can complete a 2019-2020 Waiting List Registration Form so that your child can be added to the waiting list for the current academic year (2019-2020). Each waiting list only lasts for the duration of the academic year. If you wish to add your child to the waiting list for the next academic year (2020-2021) you will need to complete the 2020 - 2021 Waiting List Registratoin Form which can be downloaded here
Years 8, 9 & 10 2018-2019 : If your child is currently on roll at a Liverpool School you should ask their school to contact Liverpool College to discuss a potential transfer. It is very rare that there will be a place available and if we are unable to offer a place you will be able to add your child to our waiting list. If you have recently moved into the city or transport to the child's current school is no longer practical you should make an application at www.liverpoool.gov.uk/admissions under the In Year Transfers tab. The Local Authority will coordinate information regarding the in year transfer.
APPEALS TIMETABLE 2020 -2021
YEAR 7 - appeal to be submitted by 30th MARCH 2020
Year 7 Appeal Hearings scheduled to take place week commencing 1st June 2020. Appellants have been updated with the information below:
RECEPTION APPEALS 2020 - UPDATE :
The Department for Education (DfE) have issued emergency guidance which establishes flexible alternative arrangements to enable Admission Appeals to take place safely during the outbreak of Covid-19 using 'remote panels'.
Liverpool College have appointed Clerks Associates to deal with the organisation and clerking of the admission appeals. Clerks Associates are an independent company specialising in school appeals and have trained their clerks and panel members to ensure that the process is managed professionally and efficiently and in line with paragraphs 1.11 and 2.26 of the Admission Appeals Code.
Reception Appeals are due to commence in the week beginning 6th July 2020 and the steps we have put in place are as follows:
1. A short questionnaire will be emailed to all Appellants on 11th June 2020 giving them the opportunity to state their preferred option for their appeal to be heard. The information provided on this form will be used to enable Liverpool College to make suitable arrangements with the clerk of the independent appeal panel for your appeal to be heard. The information you provide will therefore be shared with the clerk in order to facilitate the hearing.
2. Questionnaires should be returned by 16th June 2020.
3. Appellants will be given 14 days’ written notice of the date and time of their appeal
4. If no response is received the Appeal Panel will consider the appeal based on written submissions already received.
5. The Schools Case will be emailed to all Appellant on 19th June 2020 to ensure that there is adequate time for it to be considered and for questions to be answered prior to the appeal hearing.
