Cross Country in Birkenhead

Last Saturday, a small group of Key Stage 3 pupils travelled on a chilly morning to Birkenhead to participate in the next round of the Merseyside School Cross Country Competition.

As the fields were incredibly boggy, the pupils ran part of the race on the pathways. A tough competition which fielded between 60 boys and 60 girls ended with the College finishing in the middle order for both boys and girls. The pupils were praised for their excellent manners and behaviour throughout the journey.

This is the College's fifth Cross Country Race this academic year.
