Chapter 7 and Chapter 8 pupils star in the Merseyside Cross Country Championships

Last Saturday, over 20 pupils made the short trip to Arrowe Park, Wirral to participate in the Merseyside Cross Country Championships. Many pupils from other schools were involved, selecting their top runners to participate in this crucial race meeting. Although a little cold, the weather stayed dry, and the pupils took off their blazers and prepared to warm themselves up ready for the task ahead. It was a brilliantly, organised event and the pupils didn't let themselves down performing admirably in damp conditions. It's difficult to talk about individual runners as everyone ran to their very best, but Ethan B and Lexi W from Chapter 7 were the highest placed finishers for the school. Many congratulations to all pupils.
