Primary Phase - prep school
LEARNING SCHEDULE FROM MONDAY 20 APRIL 2020 – PARENTAL GUIDES
Drawing on our experience of the first two weeks of ‘learning lockdown’ prior to the Easter holidays, we have adopted a new platform for our remote learning in the primary phase. As mentioned in Mrs Pease’s last newsletter of the Lent Term, from the 20th April we will be launching the use of Seesaw across the Prep School. As lockdown continues it is essential that our children both continue with their learning and interact with their class teacher. We feel Seesaw is a great platform for this and ALL pupils will be expected to complete their class tasks.

Learning Schedule from Monday 20 April 2020 – Parental Guides
Drawing on our experience of the first two weeks of ‘learning lockdown’ prior to the Easter holidays, we have created a ‘learning schedule’ for pupils and families to follow from Monday 20 April 2020. This ‘learning schedule’ draws on best practice from the initial weeks of remote learning and strives to balance maintaining engagement and a sense of purpose for pupils with a manageable volume of work for families.

Show My Homework
During the school closure, Show My Homework will remain our principle remote learning platform for all tasks and submission of work for secondary phase pupils. Pupils should log into Show My Homework through their own login as we will be monitoring pupils’ engagement.
Information for parents about Show My Homework, including logging in as a parent is available here: https://help.teamsatchel.com/en/collections/1695420-parents
Years 7-10 and Year 12
From week commencing 30 March, there will be a weekly timetable for feedback or learning support available for pupils.
Please click here to download the timetable and staff contact list.
Please note this is not when teachers will be teaching but a time when staff will be able to answer pupils’ questions and offer some verbal feedback. If your child is struggling with the work set or has a question, your child should send an email to the designated staff member in charge of their class/year group at the time stated in the timetable.
Year 11 and Year 13
Year 11 and Year 13 will continue to be set work and we do expect the students to complete tasks set. They can contact the designated teacher (as set out in the Year 11 and Year 13 section of the timetable document) as and when they wish to.
