Y12 beat Y13 in Friendly Football Match

On Thursday, the Y12s played Y13s in a football match organised during their games session. The match was competitive and played with a nice atmosphere in front of a large gathering of watching sixth formers. Despite early dominance the Y12s ended the first half leading by two goals to nil. This lead was quickly doubled in the second half to complete a good Y12 team performance. Late pressure from the Y13s  failed to produce a goal they deserved for possessional play and the match finished with handshakes all around and fist pumping from the jubilant Y12 team. Coaches Mr Cook (Y12 team) and Mr Muscatelli/Mr Heeley (Y13 team) spoke at length at the end of the game about shared team tactics and a rematch is planned soon.
