Army

The Liverpool College CCF Army Section prides itself in a long tradition of expert training. Our adult instructors bring an enormous amount of knowledge from various military backgrounds. Our aim is to ensure that cadets learn basic military skills whilst having fun.

The Army Section features the use of the L98 GP Rifle, which is both light weight and robust making it ideal for the Cadet. We have a shooting club which meets every Thursday to practice with the 0.22 rifles on our own indoor range. Weekend shooting events are held mainly at the ranges at Altcar near Southport.

DofE

Since the Award is simply an extension of a young person's personal interests and activities, and has a long completion time, Award work can fit around school.
