Seven goal win ensures the Chapter 8 team are back to winning ways

Last Saturday, the Chapter 8 football team made the trip to Sandbach School. Having previously conceded two late goals in the previous match to draw 4-4, the boys were keen to make amends. There had been two hard working training sessions during the week to prepare for this match and a few changes made to the starting line-up. The team had been spoken to during the week about the importance of been prepared off the pitch, therefore, all turned up on time 8.00am sharp, dressed immaculately in blazer, collar and tie and were keen to impress. 

 

The training sessions paid off as the boys put in a hard-working performance, pressing their opposition throughout into making mistakes. The 7-0 score line suggests it was very one sided and that was only because of the hard work, resilience, and determination of the team. A mention must go to centre back Archie M and right back Phil H who stepped into the starting line-up and impressed throughout the match.
