Eurovision!

On Wednesday night, we took the boarders and day boarders to the Eurovision Village - what an amazing opportunity to experience something so magnificent in our own city!

We got to see the Floating Earth by Luke Jerram, who used detailed NASA images to create the 10-meter Earth's surface floating in three dimensions with the amazing backdrop of the inner quay. 

As we were walking around we also saw some of the Soloveiko Songbirds, which is the national bird of Ukraine and a symbol of song and happiness, followed by a performance from Finland's act for the Eurovision. 

It was lovely to see so many happy faces celebrating different nationalities and cultures.
