Boarders Enjoy Sunset and Friendship at Otterspool
On Saturday evening, our Liverpool College boarders made the most of the sunny weather with a relaxed and memorable trip to Otterspool Promenade to watch the sunset over the River Mersey.
The group set off in good spirits, enjoying the fresh air, open space, and a chance to unwind after a busy school week. As the sun dipped below the horizon, the boarders took in the stunning views, shared laughs, and appreciated a moment of calm away from the hustle and bustle of school life.
Opportunities like this are what make boarding at Liverpool College so special. Being outdoors has proven benefits for both mental and physical wellbeing – it boosts mood, reduces stress, and encourages meaningful connection. For our pupils, it’s also a chance to build friendships, create lasting memories, and experience the city’s natural beauty in a safe and supportive environment.
As Mrs Latham said, "It’s the simple things like this that we so often take for granted."
We’re already planning our next weekend adventure – watch this space!
