STEM Panel Q&A

Lucky pupils from Chapter 9 participated in a fabulous, live and interactive 'question and answer' session about careers in STEM this week. The panel included: a specialist in Electrical Engineering, an R&D scientist, an operations expert from Network rail, an aeronautical engineer training to work on Apache helicopters and a robotics engineer working on triangulation techniques and neural network to develop robotics in space. It was mind-blowing for the pupilsto learn about the different educational journeys taken by each speaker, most of whom had started their careers in very different fields. Their advice was to be adaptative, develop a love of learning, take the initiative and always keep searching until you find a career that inspires you. Their passion for STEM was tangible.
