Hockey & Rugby v Argentina

Last Friday afternoon saw the visit of St Andrews, Argentina for a game against our 1st and 2nd XV rugby team.

All involved knew it would be tough challenge to compete with one of the best rugby schools in Argentina.

Our visitors put on a display of mesmerising rugby and won both games comfortably, however our boys never gave up, showed lots of resilience and were competitive in many areas including the scrum and tackle area.

All would agree that although we were beaten the experience and 'lessons learned' were most valuable.

A special mention must go to the 1st XV side who then got up early on Saturday morning to play Bolton School and came from 19-0 down to win 38-26.  What a outstanding effort!

Pictured are the Captains from both the rugby and hockey sides that played last Friday.
